Professional Relationships 

While working for Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in the Events and Catering department, I learned firsthand the importance of building strong professional relationships. Through this experience, I've realized that effective communication is crucial for success in any job.

In my public speaking and business communication classes, I picked up skills that have been incredibly useful in my work. Learning to express myself clearly, appear confident, and connect with others has been key. I've also learned the importance of using body language and tone to make a positive impression in professional settings. One lesson that stands out is the significance of networking and professional etiquette. These skills came in handy during a tough catering event for the Mississippi Truckers Association. When we ran out of food, I worked with the chef to come up with quick solutions and it was my responsibility to communicate back to the client.
